Every company should be bidding on their own name through Google Adwords. This might sound counter-productive to some but there are very strong reasons for doing so, including;

Let’s assume that your company name is ACME, Inc. Now, if your company was recently submitted for indexing on Google, there might be other companies with the same name as yours, example; ACME.net (Blacksmith), ACME.com (Party Goods), ACME.edu (School). Depending on the amount of traffic to your site, all these other properties will be listed in the organic Google search ranking before you.  Divert Traffic to specific solution pages with Site Links: 

From the initial search query is it easy to understand what solutions your product addresses? If not, the site-links feature will allow your first interaction to be exponentially more successful by clearly presenting what your company does and how to consume the information. 

 Competitors can potentially steal your organic traffic: 

Organizations that are entering late into the market and offer cost-competitive solutions make it their business to identify the lowest hanging fruit. In most case, this is the traffic and reputation that other brands work hard to create. As a side consideration to this point, it’s not going to help your company win business if web visitors are being presented with alternate solutions from competitors. 

 Build your SEM Credit Score: 

Spending money on Google Adwords doesn’t necessarily imply that Google will reward you with a 1st position rank (First Ad at the Top of the Page) amongst your competitors. The goal of Google for both Organic and Paid is to deliver the best results to search engine queries. Driving traffic based on the brand keywords, will ensure that a low bounce rate is upheld and sessions per page are high. Remember that a higher relevancy = Higher Google Credit Score
